BNI Treatment & Paradigm Treatment present A Day At Disneyland! 🏰🪄🐭💖 Last week I had the honor of cohosting this amazing event with some of the best treatment programs in the country, with the people who share the same mission of helping children, adolescents, and families find hope, healing, and a brighter future. The day started with a luncheon at Club 33 where we had a Mad Hatter Tea Party, and then spent the rest of the day on a VIP Tour with meaningful conversations, unforgettable experiences, and a lot Disney magic. We are incredibly grateful to work alongside such compassionate, dedicated professionals. The work these beautiful humans do every day—supporting young people through some of life’s most difficult challenges and helping families heal—is nothing short of inspiring. It is a privilege to collaborate with individuals and organizations who make such a profound difference in the lives of others. Special thanks to Disneyland and our amazing VIP Tour guide Wyatt Roman for a magical day 🥳♥️

OCD or OCPD? They sound alike, but they are not the same thing, and the difference can be easy to miss in a teen.
Here is one way to think about it: a teen with OCD usually knows their thoughts and rituals don't make sense and feels distressed by them. A teen with OCPD tends to see their perfectionism, rigid rules, and need for control as simply the right way to do things. That second one can be especially hard to spot, because it can look like a "model" teenager who just has high standards.
Both often show up during the adolescent years, and both respond well to treatment when caught early. In our latest article, we walk through what sets these two conditions apart, the early warning signs to watch for, and how each one is treated.
