The disease of alcoholism,
which has nothing to do with alcohol or drugs ,is found in in all humans that have entered this world ,as sin entered the moment Adam was disobedient to the Lord God in the garden! Yet, different levels of this disease rise in others in different forms, yet in us, who are in recovery, we are in a category not better than others, but sicker than others, as we have and maybe continue to use drugs and alcohol! The only antidote to this disease , God, allows us to be humbled, by recognizing our shortcomings, that allow our defects to flare up, thus being separated as Adam was from the Sunlight of the Spirit … Not separated from the Son, If you belong to Him, but the actual joy and peace which pours over the soul!Ahhhh to see this defective behavior within oneself is so precious if one decides to recognize, repent and rectify in His Power ! May it be so of me as I fall short daily….. thus today is a new day and I can choose to be better than my yesterday errors, by allowing His Grace, by coming to His Throne, to establish me in a path of growth or choose to continue in a path of reckless defiant pride, creating the same pattern of destruction as yesterday …May I choose this morning, this new day wisely! Make today count!

The enemy is real ! The biggest lie that many believe especially so called Christian is that we don’t have to go to church or fellowship with other believers …. As long as we do life alone apart from God and others that have been saved we must ask ourselves are we really saved? The desire to get high and drunk would always lead us to the bars and the trap houses well is the desire to get closer to the Lord the same by looking g forward to church ? To thine own self be true ……..

The ladder of success vs the ladder of life? You’d would think that one connects to the other, or that they are one in themselves, but what if the ladder of success is placed against the wrong wall? What determines success;and I guess the real question is what do I define success as? I know one thing, there is always a cost in life to gain something …. so I pick up the ladder of success and leave the ladder of life on the floor…. Years go by? and as I climb the ladder of success, I step over people, I don’t think twice about who I hurt in order to climb the ladder of success . And the day finally comes when I’m to depart this world only to find out I picked the wrong ladder. 🪜 the moral of the story is that the ladder I chose not to pick up was the ladder of victory that led to a better life by being blessed and blessing others in the way up …. It was a ladder that others were allowed to climb in order for them to also achieve victory . It was a ladder that when the day came to leave this world It was positioned directly to the entrance of Heaven! What ladder will I choose today . If we are using the wrong one switch today ! Make today count !

It’s vital to seek the Lord as much as the desire to seek financial wealth! Is my mind so consumed on what I don’t have as opposed to how grateful for what I do? Ahhhh that answer can honestly be answered by oneself! God sees all! The wicked and the righteous hearts… God doesn’t oppose success but He does oppose substitution of Him for success! For God knows that once one realize God is the success one has been so searching for, then God blesses and opens the flood gates for the next chapter of one’s journey ! Have you sought Gods face early upon awakening or do we give Him our second best?
