Come join me for a fun weekend as we learn about birth, build some resources, and make some connections. We will be exploring the many ways in which labor can unfold and how you as an individual person/couple can move through it with more confidence and resiliency. There will be plenty of time for discussion, asking questions, and connecting with other class participants. These are longs days full of learning but we will have multiple breaks and break for a community picnic together midway.

Choosing midwifery means choosing to show up again and again for some of the most sacred, vulnerable moments in a person's life. It means carrying the weight of those moments long after the birth. The births that took your breath away and the ones that broke your heart, and somehow coming back to do it all again.

It is not just a job. It is a privilege and a calling in equal measure.

It's moments like these that offer a reflection, a reminder of the true sense of joy and gratitude this calling brings. The time invested, the sacrifices made, the shared joy, and sometimes tears that come with walking families down this path. What an honor it is to do this work❣️ I've had a hand in caring for all of these children on some level over the years. It's a beautiful thing to hold these deeper relationships with families.
