Trading the mountains for some family adventures in the lower 48! ✈✨ I’m taking a short break here at Magpie & Alder from August 1st-12th to recharge and make some memories.

It's been a minute since I've shared a gratitude post. Although this was a few weeks ago, I still feel so lucky to have had such a beautiful flight back home to Homer from Seldovia, thanks to . I may share more about the trip. later but for now enjoy the flight!

Gratitude Day 9 & 10

Laundry! Yes I'm very grateful for this large stack of dirty sheets. First because it means I had a busy day filled with helping people connect to their own mind and body for healing and peace. Second because I am grateful for the ability to wash said sheets in clean water, with high quality soaps, in machines that do all the hard work for me. And following all this work I came home to a small but meaningful gathering of friends around the firepit with good food and even better company. As such the conversations ran well past 1 and the gratitude journey turned into 2 days. :)

Our landlord gifted us a large bunch of fresh rhubarb and -U-MoreHomer had fresh strawberries on sale... so jam and crumble were today's projects! Sooo greatful for local abundance

Gratitude Day #7

So honestly amazed and greatful to live in this beautiful space and to be able to have fun adventures like this! Never thought my life would involve "calling a cab" and this is what it means! Its true the winters can be trying at times but looonnnggg summer days sure do make up for it.

No filter needed when the locally grown veggies are this fresh!!! So greatful to have such a fantastic community of growers who plant, cultivate, harvest and share their produce!

Gratitude Journey Day #5

Almost missed posting for the day.. we ll I guess its technically now "tomorrow " so maybe Journey Day 5.5 lol... today I am greatful to have a sunny summer day where I can do all my paperwork outside with my "office staff".
