Honoring and Remembering Our Community

On July 24, 2026, Hale O Honolulu Clubhouse participated in the 26th Annual Remembrance Service, hosted by Hawaii State Hospital at Hawaii Memorial Park Cemetery.

As a meaningful expression of respect and remembrance, Hale O Honolulu Clubhouse members sang an original song written by staff member Mike Kanayama for everyone gathered at the service.

It was a heartfelt opportunity for our members and staff to come together, honor those who have passed, and show our support and respect for the community.

Working Together to Keep Our Clubhouse Beautiful

We take pride in working together to keep our clubhouse clean, welcoming, and beautiful. Today, as part of our special Work Order Day project, members and staff worked side by side to give our kitchen floor an extra cleaning.

It was a great opportunity for everyone to pitch in, make an extra effort, and help create a clean and inviting environment for our clubhouse community.

This aligns with the clubhouse model's focus on helping adults in mental wellness recovery transition back to school or work. This also helps with goal support and community building. The group at Hale O Honolulu had discussions to foster peer connection. Our speaker requested fish with stir fry, and the staff provided. , ,

Around the world 🌎 of Clubhouse 🏡! This month we're in Minnesota, USA!

"In the Twin Cities, Vail Communities is home to Minnesota’s three accredited Clubhouses. Time and time again, a common theme comes up: this community saved my life.

Clubhouse member, Sara, shares her story and experience over the past few months as Vail navigated funding uncertainty for two of their Clubhouses.

Thanks to a generous donor, all three Clubhouses will remain open and will continue to meet the growing need for community-based mental health support."

Sara's story is a powerful reminder that Clubhouses are more than programs. They're communities that change and save lives.
