Nothing says summer like a day at the beach! 🌊☀️

Our staff recently accompanied patients on a special trip to the Shriners Beach Club in Waimanalo. They enjoyed swimming, making crafts, and spending time together in the sun. It was a wonderful day of fun, friendship, and creating lasting memories.

Readiness saves lives!

Shriners Children's Hawaii recently participated alongside health care facilities statewide in disaster response drills tied to the biennial Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC), the world's largest international maritime training exercise.

During the simulation, our hospital responded to a sudden influx of "injured" patients, testing our teams' readiness, coordination, and ability to provide timely care under pressure. From triage to treatment, staff worked together to ensure the highest level of preparedness for real-world emergencies.

We are proud of the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism demonstrated throughout the drill. Mahalo to all who participated in helping ensure we remain prepared to provide exceptional care during emergencies and disaster response operations!

It's that time of year again for the annual Keiki O Ka 'Aina Family Learning Centers Back to School Drive!

To help kick off this important community initiative, several of our staff members volunteered at Fisher Hawaii in Mapunapuna and Walmart Honolulu, collecting school supplies for local students in need.

Mahalo to our staff and family members who generously donated their time to help make a difference for keiki across our community.

Congratulations to to our very own chief of staff Dr. Jennifer M. Weiss on a remarkable recognition!

It's America's 250th anniversary! To celebrate, our team showed their patriotic spirit by dressing in red, white, and blue and enjoying classic American favorites like hot dogs and mac and cheese. 😋

A fun lunch break, great company, and plenty of patriotic spirit made for a wonderful celebration!

Our Nutrition team brought the ono vibes back to the Honu Café with another incredible tasting event! This time, staff enjoyed a nutritious—and delicious—dragon fruit dip. 😋

Not only is dragon fruit packed with antioxidants and vitamin C, it’s also rich in fiber to support gut and digestive health.
