More information wasn’t what I needed.

I thought one more podcast would fix it. One more supplement. One more fertility book. One more late-night Google search.

But that wasn’t the problem.

I didn’t have a clear plan.

I was so busy learning that I wasn’t actually doing. And the doing is what moves the needle.

Once I stopped chasing every new tip and picked a few key habits to stick to, everything changed.

Less second-guessing. Less stress. More confidence in what I was doing.

The women I work with? A lot of them come to me doing 50 things at once. Most of them do better when they cut it down to 5 and actually stick with it.

You don’t need to know everything.
You just need a clear plan for what matters most for you.

I created a FREE GUIDE to help you prepare body for pregnancy. Comment “PREPNOW” and I’ll send it over!

Here are the fertility terms you keep seeing but nobody actually breaks down:

🥚 TTC = Trying to conceive.

⏳ TWW = The two-week wait. The time between ovulation and your pregnancy test. Often the longest two weeks of the month 😅

📈 OPK = Ovulation predictor kit. The strips you p*e on to help identify your fertile window.

🌊 LH Surge = The hormone spike that usually happens 24–36 hours before ovulation.

📅 Luteal Phase = The second half of your cycle after ovulation. Ideally around 10–14 days to support implantation.

🗓️ DPO = Days past ovulation. You’ll see this term constantly during the two-week wait.

🌱 Implantation = When a fertilized embryo attaches to the uterine lining, usually about 6–10 days after ovulation.

💔 Chemical Pregnancy = A very early pregnancy loss that occurs shortly after implantation. More common than many people realize.

🧡 Progesterone = A hormone produced after ovulation that helps support the uterine lining and early pregnancy.

🚫🥚 Anovulation = A cycle where ovulation doesn’t occur. You can still have bleeding without actually releasing an egg.

🧪 AMH = Anti-Müllerian Hormone. A blood test often used to estimate ovarian reserve.

🔄 PCOS (now referred to as PMOS) = A common hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect ovulation, menstrual cycles, insulin regulation, and fertility.

Save this post so you have it when fertility conversations start sounding like another language.

And if there’s a term you’d like me to add, leave it in the comments.

Your period is more than just the end of a cycle.

It’s one of the easiest ways to get clues about what’s happening with your fertility.

In Chinese Medicine, the menstrual cycle reflects the body’s overall health. In Western medicine, it offers important information about hormones, ovulation, and reproductive function.

Here are 5 things your period may be telling you:

✨ CYCLE LENGTH

A typical cycle is 21–35 days.

Short cycles may be associated with lower progesterone, diminished ovarian reserve, or a shorter luteal phase.

Longer cycles may suggest irregular ovulation, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, or other hormone imbalances.

✨ FLOW VOLUME

Your flow matters.

Very light periods may be linked to lower estrogen, a thinner uterine lining, under-fueling, or diminished ovarian reserve.

Heavy periods can be associated with fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, or hormone imbalances.

✨ COLOR & CLOTS

Healthy menstrual blood is typically bright red and flows smoothly.

Persistent dark blood, large clots, pain, or heavy bleeding may deserve further investigation.

✨ PAIN LEVEL

A little cramping can be normal.

Pain that causes you to miss work, cancel plans, or rely heavily on medication is not something to ignore.

✨ PMS SYMPTOMS

Mood changes, bloating, headaches, irritability, anxiety, breast tenderness, and fatigue can provide important clues.

These symptoms may be related to hormone fluctuations, blood sugar issues, stress, or inflammation.

Your period doesn’t tell us everything, but it often tells us what questions to ask next.

Pay attention to the patterns. Your body is giving you information every month.

Your cycle is data. Start treating it that way.

Acupuncture gets written off as “just relaxing.”But it can do a lot more for fertility than most people realize.

Here’s what I actually see it help with in practice:
Blood flow to the reproductive organs. Hormone balance. Stress and cortisol levels. All things that directly affect your ability to conceive.

It’s not a magic fix. But as part of a bigger picture approach it’s one of the tools I reach for regularly, especially around cycle timing and IVF support.

Comment “ACU” and I’ll break down exactly how I use it. 🤍

Some of my favorite foods to prioritize for egg quality:

🥚 Eggs → packed with choline and protein, both essential for healthy cell development and hormone production
🐟 Salmon / sardines → high in omega-3s which lower inflammation and help keep hormones balanced
🫐 Berries → full of antioxidants that protect your eggs from everyday cellular damage
🥩 Grass-fed beef → iron, zinc, and B12 all in one. These nutrients directly support ovulation and hormone health
🥑 Avocados → healthy fats help your body actually absorb the nutrients you’re eating and make hormones
🍠 Sweet potatoes → help keep blood sugar steady, which matters more for ovulation than most people realize
🦪 Oysters → one of the highest dietary sources of zinc, which is critical for egg quality
🥬 Leafy greens → rich in folate, which your body needs for conception and early fetal development
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s consistently giving your body the raw materials it needs to make healthier eggs over time. 🤍

Save this for your next grocery run and share it with someone who’s TTC.

“35 is too old to have a baby.”

If you’ve ever heard that and felt something in you tighten, this is for you.

Maybe you’re 35, 38, 41+ and quietly wondering if you’re running out of time. On the outside you’re doing everything right. Tracking ovulation. Paying attention to your cycle. Getting your labs done. Taking your supplements. Eating well.

But instead of clarity you feel stuck in a loop of hope, overthinking, and disappointment every cycle.
Here’s what I want you to hear:

The process isn’t about doing more things. It’s that you’re not quite piecing together what the symptoms your body is showing you actually mean for your fertility. So every month turns into guessing, reacting, and starting over.
But your body isn’t starting from zero each cycle. It’s following patterns. You just haven’t been shown how to read them yet.

If this feels familiar, DM me CLARITY and I’ll show you what worked for me. 🤍

If you’ve been told fertility after 35 is just about age, that’s not the full story.

Muscle mass, blood sugar, stress, sleep, inflammation, and movement all play a role. And most women either have no idea, or have heard it but don’t think it matters.
These are things you can actually do something about. Every single day.

That’s what I focus on with my patients and it’s what these 5 habits are built around.

Save this if you’re TTC after 35. 🤍

We spend so much time optimizing women’s fertility and almost no time taking the men into account. How about we change that? Like today.

Sleep. Protein. Regular exercise. Cutting alcohol and smoking. Keeping heat away from the te**es (yes, that means the laptop, the hot tub, the sauna). Reducing toxin exposure. Getting a semen analysis done before there’s a problem.

These things work. We just don’t talk about them enough.
I see this gap in my practice all the time. And it’s fixable.
Send this to your partner if you’re TTC. 👀

🚨 [LAST CHANCE] Enrollment for The Mala Fertility Method closes tonight

For those of you on the fence, I want to share what’s been coming up for women inside the program so far.

After joining The Mala Fertility Method, women have said things like

“I finally understand what my cycle is doing for the first time”
“I stopped guessing every month and now I actually know what to focus on”
“I feel calmer going into treatment instead of anxious and confused”

One client said “I’ve been trying for so long and this is the first time I feel like I actually have a clear plan”

Since opening the doors, I’ve had women join who are tired of doing everything and still not feeling clear. They’re ready for a structured, simple way to understand their fertility and what actually matters for their body instead of reacting every month.

The Mala Fertility Method is built from years of clinical fertility work and my own personal journey. It takes all the scattered advice most women are getting and turns it into a simple step-by-step process so you can understand your cycle, support your body, and know what to focus on each month.

So you can skip the constant guessing of changing supplements every cycle hoping something works, starting over each month when nothing feels clear, and trying to piece together random advice from the internet.

This program is designed to give you clarity, structure, and direction so you’re not doing this alone or figuring it out through trial and error anymore.

Inside, you’ll learn how to understand your cycle patterns in a simple way, know what actually matters for your fertility right now, and build a monthly plan you can follow without overthinking it.

So if you’re still sitting on the fence, this is your sign. If you’re tired of doing everything and still feeling unsure, this is exactly what this is for.

To join The Mala Fertility Method, DM me “I’M IN” and I’ll send you the details. Enrollment closes tonight.
