I recently had the opportunity to join Pilipinx in Wellness for a two-hour conversation on the multi-dimensional aspects of healing—one that felt especially meaningful connecting both clinical practice and the shared cultural roots of Pilipinx and Hawai‘i communities.

We wander through my origin story 90s 🌈 activism in NYC to burnout to exploring the healing arts of Reiki and chiropractic and living and practicing in O’ahu.

We explore how healing can move beyond symptom management to include nervous system regulation, biofield dynamics, and the role of ancestral wisdom in shaping how we understand and support the body. We also talk about listening more closely to the body’s signals and addressing deeper patterns—physical, neurological, and energetic—that influence long-term well-being.

This conversation is for both practitioners and community members who are interested in integrative care that honors modern science while staying grounded in culture, identity, and lived experience.

We’ll be delving into scanning, beaming, and adding to your spiritual clearing toolkit.
