Su***de prevention is how we care for one another.
This Su***de Prevention Month, we are fighting ⚔️⚔️ to make mental health care more accessible for Hawaiʻi’s young people.
Mahalo Governor Green for your support of Act 93 and for continuing to elevate youth mental health across our islands. We are almost there! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
The heart of our work is simple. Keiki deserve to feel seen, supported, and connected to care when they need it most.
Act 93 created a pathway to strengthen Hawaiʻi’s mental health workforce. The care is happening. The payment isn’t.
Med-QUEST health plans, let’s go so providers can get paid and keep serving Hawaiʻi’s youth.
YOU can HELP us carry Act 93 across the finish line!🌺⚔️.
Share this post, tag someone who cares about youth mental health, and send a short message to our state leaders asking for full implementation of Act 93.
More providers. More access. More young people supported.
Built in Hawaiʻi. For Hawaiʻi. Together.

WOULD YOU KEEP SHOWING UP TO WORK IF NO ONE PAID YOU? because welcome to social work…..😆
We already paid our providers for $500,000 in care. But we still can’t bill insurance for those services because the reimbursement system doesn’t exist.
