Custom made material from Japan exclusively for Hawai‘i Eyewear Co. This limited-edition block acetate was developed to capture the rich color, depth, and character of traditional tortoiseshell.
At 8 mm thick, the substantial acetate gives us the material needed to sculpt dimensional edges and contoured nose profiles while revealing layers of amber, tortoise, and translucency that change beautifully with the light.
Every cut reveals something different. Every frame becomes uniquely its own.
