Mental Health issues around the world are at an all time high.
In order to help others you must first help yourself. Here are some things you can do stay sane during these crazy times...
❤️Take time for yourself
❤️Go outside and get some exercise
❤️Read a good book
❤️Mediate
❤️Journal things you are grateful for
❤️Get a lot of sleep
❤️Reduce your Alcohol consumption
❤️Eat healthy. Avoid junk food
Self care is a must! Most importantly give yourself some grace and don’t be too hard on yourself.

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since this little guy made his way home to Hawaii. 🐾 His journey began from Korea to California, where he had to wait out quarantine.
Since Hawaii 🌸 is rabies-free, qualifications for animals coming to the state are quite strict and the time frame is lengthy. Fortunately the state had just changed the wait period from 120 days to 30 days so we got lucky and he got to come home sooner. 🐶
Every day I feel more loved because of him and he gives purpose to our old socks!

To all the parents working from home, running businesses and managing your child’s distance learning…I am with you!

When your child wants your help,
When your child doesn’t want your help,
When frustration hits the roof,
When your child loses track of time and forgets to log into his class,
When your child finishes his work but doesn’t turn it in,
When you have two children and they don’t want the same lunch,
When your child has band class and you are on a work call,
When PE is now jumping on the couch,
When every day is bring your child to work day.
This is real life parenting challenges right now and you are not alone. There are days when we just don’t know how much more we can continue. We do anyway and we push through. We love our kids so much that the sacrifice is worth it. �Wherever you are right now, I am sending you my admiration and praise. 🌟 One day our children will look back at this time and (hopefully) appreciate what they learned from us. I obviously had a pretty smooth day of distance learning today or my post would have a way different tone! 😜
