Today, our center came alive with the sounds of tradition and the warmth of home. We were proud to host renowned Nepali Lok Dohori artists Raju Pariyar and Chandra Sharma, who spent meaningful time singing, sharing stories, and connecting with our participants; especially our Nepali elders.
This unforgettable experience was made possible by the heartfelt initiative of our own Nigma Sherpa, who reached out the night before with a simple but powerful idea: bring culture closer to our elders. That gesture turned into a moment of joy, pride, and belonging.
At New Hampshire Adult Day Care, we don’t just provide care we create experiences that honor roots, celebrate heritage, and strengthen community. Today was a beautiful reminder that when tradition meets compassion, magic happens.
