Knee pain isn’t always just a “knee problem.” 🦵

Hip, ankle, and spinal mechanics all affect how your knee absorbs load and moves.

Chiropractic care focuses on improving alignment, mobility, and movement patterns to reduce stress on the knee joint.

When combined with strengthening exercises, many patients see improved function and reduced pain.

Ever notice a headache shows up on the busiest days, especially when you've skipped a meal? 🧠⏰

New research found that stress and fasting may each slightly increase the likelihood of a migraine attack, but the combination of both appeared to have the greatest impact.

While more research is needed, the findings highlight something many migraine sufferers already suspect: stress and missed meals can work together to make headaches more likely.

For people dealing with recurring headaches, maintaining regular eating habits and managing daily stress may be important pieces of the puzzle.

Hot weather doesn’t just change how you feel; it changes how your body performs. ☀️

When temperatures rise, dehydration can set in faster than you think, leading to muscle cramps, fatigue, and increased joint stiffness.

The good news? Staying ahead of it is simple. Drink water consistently, take breaks in the shade when needed, and keep your body moving throughout the day. 💧

Small habits can make a big difference in how your body feels all summer long.

Think standing all day is better for your back than sitting? 🧍‍♂️

Not necessarily.

Researchers found that low back pain increased after about 60 minutes of standing, regardless of whether participants stood on a hard or soft surface, used insoles, or changed between static and dynamic standing.

The takeaway? Your body likes variety. If your job requires prolonged standing, make it a point to change positions, take movement breaks, and avoid staying in any one posture for too long.

Looking down at your phone more than you'd like to admit? 📱

It happens to all of us. The good news? Research suggests that two simple exercise approaches can help improve posture, reduce neck pain, and improve function.

Whether it's pulling your shoulder blades together or doing chin tucks, both strategies can be effective parts of a program designed to address posture-related pain.

And don't forget the basics: take frequent breaks from your phone, perform your exercises consistently, and make time to move throughout the day.

Should you get an injection for your shoulder pain? 💉

Maybe. But should it be your first stop?

A recent review found that hands-on therapy and exercise provided greater pain relief than several common shoulder injections for tendon pain at both 3 and 6 months.

That means less pain at rest, during activity, and at night.

If shoulder pain is keeping you from doing the things you enjoy, schedule an appointment with our clinic. We will find the right combination of exercise, hands-on treatment, and a personalized rehab plan to help you!

Could your diet be contributing to your migraines? 🧠🍞

A recent study found that adults who got more than 51% of their calories from carbohydrates were more likely to report severe headaches or migraines.

Does that mean carbs cause migraines? Not necessarily.

But it does add to the growing evidence that what we eat may influence migraine symptoms for some people.

The challenge is that migraine triggers are highly individual. For one person, it might be stress. For another, it could be poor sleep, certain foods, dehydration, or a combination of factors. ⚖️

That's why managing migraines often requires looking at the bigger picture.

Take a look at this list to see if any of the foods in your diet could be contributing to your migraines.[https://chiroup.short.gy/nExgmF]
