Diabetes Resource Center The Diabetes Resource Center of Hopkinsville is accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators as a diabetes self management education program.

The Center’s educator provides diabetes education individually or in a group setting dependent upon the client’s need. The Center’s coordinator is a Master’s prepared Registered Dietitian, Board Certified in Advance Diabetes Management. She works with your health care provider to help you meet the treatment goals you have set. She provides medical nutrition therapy for those who wish to focus on the nutritional aspect of their care and is trained in insulin pump and personal glucose monitoring. The Center has recently become certified by the CDC as a Diabetes Prevention Program. The Diabetes Prevention Program is a nationally recognized 16 week lifestyle modification program that focus on diet, weight management and exercise. For more information contact us at 270.707.0060.
