Jennie Stuart Health/ the E.C. Green Cancer Center was proud to sponsor Relay For Life and the Survivor Dinner, a special evening dedicated to celebrating the strength, courage, and resilience throughout our community.

For us, this mission is especially meaningful. Every day, our physicians, nurses, and team members have the privilege of caring for patients and families throughout their cancer journey. Seeing survivors come together is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

We celebrate those who have fought cancer, remember those we have lost, and stand beside those who are still fighting.

Congratulations to Jennie Stuart Medical Imaging on achieving a record-high number for lung cancer screening during March 2026. Partners from the Kentucky Cancer Program, Christian County Health Department, and Focus 21 Leadership joined together to represent the Christian County Coalition for Better Lung Health and recognize the team for this accomplishment.

Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer-related death in Kentucky. A low-dose CT scan can detect cancer at an earlier stage, when treatment is often more effective and outcomes are better! If you are between the ages of 50-80 and have a heavy smoking history, ask your primary care provider about this potentially life-saving screening.
