Over the last several months, Air Evac 10 has had the privilege of being invited to Madisonville Fire Department to provide several continuing education classes to their crews. 🚒🚁

Outreach education is something we take a lot of pride in—not only because it gives us the opportunity to share knowledge and sharpen skills together, but because of the relationships it builds along the way. Our crew members have expressed how valuable it is to spend time learning alongside the same first responders who are often handing over patient care to us in the field. Those relationships, that communication, and that teamwork ultimately help us all provide better care to the communities we serve.

Our nurses, Hayley and Bridget, took the lead on coordinating and providing these classes and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the crews at MFD along the way.

After wrapping up the classes, they wanted to go a little above and beyond to thank MFD for welcoming us in, participating in the education, and—most importantly—letting us hang out with them for a while. And what better way to say thank you to a bunch of firefighters than FOOD?! 🤣

Hayley decided if we were going to feed them, we might as well do it right! Over the last few days, she planned and prepared three different home-cooked meals—two lunches and a breakfast—so each of MFD’s three shifts got their own meal. Bridget jumped in to help get everything transported, set up, and served, and we were finally able to wrap up our little “thank you” today. ❤️

Apparently Hayley can plan, shop for, and cook enough food to feed an entire fire department…but remembering to take pictures of all that food is where we draw the line. 🙈🤣 So you’ll just have to take our word for it on some of the meals!

A huge THANK YOU to Madisonville Fire Department for the hospitality you’ve shown our crews over the last several months. We appreciate the opportunity to share some education, spend time together outside of patient handoffs, and strengthen the relationships between our teams.

We may wear different uniforms, but at the end of the day, we’re all working toward the same goal: taking care of our community and taking care of each other. ❤️🚒🚁

We look forward to many more opportunities to learn, work, and maybe even eat together in the future!

Hello, world!! 👋🪿🚁

We would like to formally introduce the newest member of the Air Evac 10 crew… Lady Karen Ketamina! 👑😂

Lady Karen has officially taken up residence at AE 10, and naturally, she takes her role very seriously. Today she’s sporting her finest Back-to-School attire in support of all the students, teachers, faculty, and staff heading back to the classroom! ✏️📚🍎

She may not be cleared for flight operations, but she is fully qualified to supervise the front porch, keep an eye on the crew, and make sure everyone stays in line. 😏

We have a feeling you’ll be seeing a lot more of Lady Karen Ketamina and her wardrobe around AE 10! ❤️🚁🪿

Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and successful school year! If your kiddos have started back to school, drop those first-day pictures in the comments so Lady Karen can see them! 📸📚❤️

Our crews spent this week getting some quality time with our Medical Director and fellow crews from across the region, sharpening our clinical skills and putting them to the test with some hands-on simulation practice! 🚁🩺

Training together gives us the opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen our teamwork, and continue building the skills we rely on to provide the best possible care when our patients need us most. There’s always something to learn, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to train alongside such a knowledgeable and dedicated group.

Of course, it can’t be all work… we also like to catch a few candid moments in between scenarios. 🙈🤣

Great week of learning, teamwork, and a little fun along the way! 🚁❤️

🪽 A DOUBLE WING CELEBRATION! 🪽

Today we had the privilege of celebrating not one, but two incredible milestones at Air Evac 10! 🚁

🏅 Pilot Joe Hall recently completed his 500th patient flight—a remarkable achievement that reflects countless hours of dedication, professionalism, and safely transporting our crews and patients when they need us most. Thank you, Joe, for your unwavering commitment to our mission and the communities we serve.

Even more special, Joe’s commemorative 500-flight wings were presented by Flight Nurse Keisha, who is celebrating a milestone of her own after completing her 100th patient flight today! 🎉

Keisha is now eagerly awaiting her own set of 100-flight wings, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this accomplishment with her. Your compassion, hard work, and commitment to exceptional patient care make a difference every single day.

Congratulations to Joe and Keisha on these well-earned milestones! Thank you both for your dedication to serving others and for representing Air Evac 10 with excellence. Here’s to many more safe flights and lives touched along the way! ❤️🚁

We don’t think this happens very often… but today, it did! 🎉

Not one, but TWO of our flight nurses successfully passed advanced specialty certification exams on the very same day!

✈️ Congratulations to Keisha on earning her Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification.

🚑 Congratulations to Hayley on earning her Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN) certification.

These certifications represent countless hours of studying, years of experience, and a commitment to providing the highest level of care for our patients.

We couldn’t be more proud of these ladies for investing in themselves, their profession, and the communities we serve. Congratulations, Keisha and Hayley! ❤️🚁

Yes they are smart and love their animals 🤣
