It has been brought to my attention that a certain individual took a substantial amount food they received from Five Loaves and Two Fishes Food Pantry to the town dump in Ida and threw it away.

It should be common sense for you not to throw food away. Give it away or donate it if it’s too much for your household.

If you cannot find someone or somewhere to donate the extra food, please don’t come back to the pantry. You are wasting our time and money by throwing food in the dumpster.

If you have not registered for our August 18th distribution, Wednesday the 5th is the final day for registration.
Please call between 12pm and 5pm on Wednesday. 318-402-1661.
Registration for the month of August will end at 5pm.

Harvest Regional Food Bank will distribute 400 emergency food boxes to Texas residents only beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at T&P Trail Head Park Pavilion, 1 Trail Head Park Plaza. Link in comments.
