🌼 Happy Grandparents Day from Mt. Carmel Assisted Living! 🌼

What a wonderful day celebrating the special people who fill our lives with love, laughter, and treasured memories! ❤️

Today we enjoyed a delicious cookout prepared by Michelle and her dynamic Dietary Team, followed by refreshing A&W Root Beer Floats and some friendly competition with “Cornhole in the Courtyard!” 🎯🥤

🎶 Uncle Billy provided the beautiful music while our residents enjoyed lunch surrounded by family and friends.

A huge thank-you to our vivacious volunteer, Kim, for always jumping in and helping make our celebrations extra special! And a very special thank-you to Michelle, our Dietary Director, and her amazing team for preparing such a delicious lunch and seamlessly serving our big, boisterous crowd! 💕

Happy Grandparents Day to all of our wonderful residents and families! Today was all about good food, great music, family, friends, and making memories together! 🌸💛

Please join us in celebrating National Assisted Living Week — “Shining Through the Years!” 🌟✨

The fun begins this Sunday, September 13, with Grandparents Day! ❤️ We have an entire week of special events, decade-themed dress-up days, music, delicious food, and plenty of fun planned for our residents, families, and friends!

From the fabulous ’50s through the totally awesome ’80s, we’ll be shining through the years and making new memories together. 🌼🪩🎶

We’ll finish our celebration in sparkling style with our Shining Stars Gala on Friday and a Shining Stars Glow Party on Saturday! ⭐️💃🏻🕺🏻

🥋✨ We gave “Try-Chi” a try! ✨🥋

Today, Brittani from Oaklawn Center on Aging introduced us to some “Try-Chi” during our Ageless Grace class! Our residents had a wonderful time moving, stretching, and trying something new together.

🎰✨ Mt. Carmel Takes Over Oaklawn! ✨🎰

Today, our Mt. Carmel crew headed to Oaklawn Casino for a fabulous day of food, fun & a little slot-machine excitement! 🎰💰 Mondays are “Hot Springs Village Day,” so we kicked things off with a delicious “Village Day” lunch at Big Al’s before trying our luck on the casino floor!

Residents from both our Garden Homes and Assisted Living joined in on the fun, and what a wonderful day we had together! ❤️ We also had the opportunity and pleasure of meeting residents and staff from our Benton facility. Thank you, Jackie, for bringing your crew down to Hot Springs!

A huge THANK YOU to Les for safely chauffeuring our crew to and from Oaklawn, and to our vivacious volunteer Kim for coming along and adding even more fun to our adventure! 🥰

There’s nothing quite like a Mt. Carmel road trip! 🎰🚌❤️

🌺 Aloha from our Garden Homes! 🌴☀️

This past Friday, our Garden Home residents said “Aloha!” to summer with a fabulous end-of-summer luau! 🌺🍹

Uncle Billy entertained us with his wonderful singing and ukulele playing, while his lovely and talented wife, Maria, got everyone moving with some hula dance lessons! 💃🌴🎶

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, music, and swaying hips as we celebrated another wonderful summer together. Mahalo, Uncle Billy & Maria, for bringing a little taste of the islands to Mt. Carmel! 🌺🏝️💚

🍌🍨 Happy Banana Split Day! 🍨🍌

Yesterday afternoon, our residents and staff celebrated in the sweetest way—by building their very own banana splits! 😋

With bananas, ice cream, plenty of toppings, whipped cream, and of course a cherry on top, everyone created their perfect sundae. 🍒🍦

Because at Mt. Carmel, life is always better with sprinkles! ✨💛
