“I’m smiling underneath here” 🤩 it is very unusual for a 4th Yr general Surgery resident and a 5th year Chief general Surgery resident to be able to operate together! We did stop and smell the roses because these moments are too precious to pass up! I may be only a part-time academic surgeon, but I’m full-time proud of these guys for the excellent patient care that they give. I cannot wait to see what they do with their surgical careers!
