We’re getting close to our first week of Mindset Mastery Camp, so let’s talk about visualization. Visualization is one of the tools athletes are taught at Mindset Mastery Camp.
Visualization is the practice of creating a mental picture of yourself performing a skill, achieving a goal, or handling a situation successfully.
When you vividly imagine an action, many of the same areas of the brain become active as when you physically perform it. Your brain doesn’t completely distinguish between a real experience and a vividly imagined one.
This mental rehearsal strengthens neural pathways, builds confidence, improves focus, and helps prepare your mind and body for success.
