Silly bear! Think it first smelled the 40 # bag of dog food just on the other side of the metal screen door but then decided to check out my trash (boring), but then noticed the cat food out for the feral cats. But just as she started to eat, both Chino, my big heeler, and I realized she was out there. His bark sent her running while I was getting the bear horn. Took 3 blasts to make her climb back over the fence.

Well after discovering I removed the cat food out of the carport he decided to come in my yard, still light, about 15 minutes after me and dogs came inside. Just sitting on my back patio, munching cat food, looking around. Not in any hurry. Ate the entire big bowl, so now I’ve got to figure out a new, safe, bear proof place!
