The Glow Within
Do not measure yourself
by the years that have passed.
The moon does not lose its beauty
because it has known many nights.
The tree does not mourn its rings;
it wears them as wisdom.
The lines upon your face
carry the traces of laughter, love,
and all the moments
that have shaped your journey.
Your beauty lies
in the kindness of your gaze,
the warmth of your presence,
the quiet strength
of a heart that has learned to open.
The flower does not ask
to remain a bud forever.
It blooms, it changes,
it offers its fragrance freely.
Your glow was never in your age;
it was always in your spirit.
So let your spirit shine
beyond numbers and seasons.
Let your wisdom glow.
Let your compassion soften the world.
Let your soul become more luminous
with every passing year.
You are not growing older.
