🌿💙 Jaxsyn’s Garden 💙🌿
Some names are written on signs. Others are written on our hearts. Jaxsyn is both. 💙
Our courtyard has officially been dedicated as Jaxsyn’s Garden, in honor of a very special 4-year-old little boy who holds such a special place in the hearts of our Carriage Court family.
Jaxsyn is the son of our Memory Care Director, Erin Rumer Mickle, and the grandson of our Dietary Manager, Jaime Cardinal. Jaxyn was born with Miller-Dieker Syndrome, and over the past several months, his health has continued to decline. His family has been walking through an incredibly difficult season and facing decisions no family should ever have to make.
Through it all, one thing has remained constant — Jaxsyn is surrounded by an incredible amount of love.
Jaime and her crew have poured countless hours, hard work, and so much love into transforming our courtyard into a beautiful place for our residents. Every flower planted and every little detail has helped create a peaceful space where our residents can enjoy the sunshine, spend time with those they love, and make new memories.
It only seemed fitting that a garden created with so much love carry the name of a little boy who is loved beyond words.
Our plaque reads:
“Where love takes root. May this garden be a place where love continues to grow, and memories forever blossom.”
Those words could not be more perfect.
We hope that every flower that blooms, every butterfly that passes through, every laugh shared, and every memory made here will carry a little piece of the love behind the name Jaxsyn’s Garden.
Jaxsyn, your name will forever be a part of this beautiful space, but more importantly, you have forever left your mark on the hearts of so many.
To Jaxsyn and his entire family, our Carriage Court family is holding you close and surrounding you with so much love.
