Try searching for one of your services without using your practice name.

Then look beyond whether your practice appears.

How does the answer describe your practice?
Does the answer connect the right service to the right practitioner?
Does it understand who the service is for?
Does it show the correct location?

Being included is only one part of the review. The description also needs to match what your practice actually provides.

During the 𝗕𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗜 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀, I’ll explain what answer engines look for and how to review the information they may be using.

This is what two hours in the right room looks like.

Steven showed up to an MBX Networking Luncheon seven months ago. He met Trish, a realtor. They are now working together and building a partnership he did not expect to find over lunch.

That is the honest picture of what happens in this room.

Something I look forward to every month.

A room full of Houston business owners who showed up to actually connect. No pitching. No awkward intros. Just real conversations with people who are building something worth talking about.

A list of ten AI visibility fixes doesn’t tell me where I’d start.

I need to know what’s keeping the practice from showing up first.

When I assess AI visibility, I’m looking at different types of problems.

An answer engine might not understand what you do. In that case, I’m looking at your service language, FAQs, and whether your website answers the questions patients are asking.

It might understand the practice but lack enough evidence to trust it. Then I’m looking at reviews, authority signals, your Google Business Profile, and the places your practice is referenced online.

Or the information might already be there, but the site isn’t structured in a way engines read easily. That sends me into the technical setup, including structured data, your sitemap, and crawler access.

Those are different problems, so I wouldn’t give them the same fix.

This is how I approach operations too. I assess where the breakdown is before I add another task, tool, or expense to the list.

For the AI Visibility Masterclass on September 22 (today), I’ll show you how I separate these pieces and decide what deserves attention first.

Looking at your own practice, do you know which AI visibility problem you’re trying to solve first?

Somebody asking an engine for a practitioner has already done her narrowing.

She's not typing "functional medicine Houston" and browsing, which is what most of us picture when we think about search.

She's asking for someone who handles her thyroid, in her city, who'll take her seriously.

That's not research, that's a woman ready to book who wants a name.

So when your name comes back, she's not comparing you against ten others for a week. The comparing already happened. She taps the link and she's most of the way there.

Fewer people arrive that way, and the ones who do arrive warm. That's what I'd think about before deciding this doesn't matter yet.

September 22, I'm covering what makes a practice worth naming.

Here's one you can do Saturday morning without me.

Open your homepage and add one line naming the conditions you treat. Thyroid. Gut. Perimenopause. Autoimmune. Whatever yours are, written the way a patient would say them out loud.

Don't take anything out. Add.

That one line is what makes you searchable when somebody asks an engine for a practitioner who handles her thyroid.

Without it, there's nothing on the page connecting you to what she's asking about, so you don't come up.

Ten minutes, and it's the one I'd do first, because everything else assumes the engine already knows what you handle.
