D. Hope Miller Foundation is Seeking Passionate Board Leaders
The D. Hope Miller Foundation is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. Our mission is reduce the stigma surrounding Mental illness by empowering communities through education, promotion, awareness, treatment, healthcare, and social services, fostering sustainable development and well-being for all. We invite individuals who share our vision and are eager to contribute their skills, experience, and enthusiasm to help us achieve our goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a board member of the D. Hope Miller Foundation, you will:
Provide strategic leadership and governance to the organization.
Assist in setting the organization’s direction and policies.
Oversee the organization’s financial health and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Support and evaluate the Executive Director.
Advocate for the foundation and help increase its visibility and influence.
Participate actively in board meetings and committee work.
Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals who possess:
A commitment to the mission and values of the D. Hope Miller Foundation.
Experience in relevant fields, such as finance, law, marketing, education, mental health, healthcare, or community development.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
The ability to dedicate sufficient time and energy to board duties.
Previous board experience (preferred but not required).
Expectations:
Attend at least 4 board meetings per year.
Participate in at least one committee and attend committee meetings as scheduled.
Make a personal financial contribution to the foundation, appropriate to your means.
Actively participate in fundraising and outreach activities.
Serve a term of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal.

Selection Process:
