This Father’s Day Eve, I went to work dressed in a legacy.
Wearing…
A man’s, pristinely pressed, dress shirt
My father’s tie,
His cufflink and
His City of Gardena Planning Commissioner’s Badge.
As I looked in the mirror, I realized these weren’t simply keepsakes. They are reminders of a life well-lived, a man who served faithfully, loved deeply, and left an imprint that time cannot erase.
God, in His goodness, gave me the gift of being his daughter. Though I miss him every day, I am grateful that the lessons he taught and the example he set continue to guide my path.
