Baylor College of Medicine, in collaboration with UTHealth Houston and Texas Biomedical Research Institute, has been awarded a $9.3 million, five-year NIH grant to support the Texas Center for AIDS Research (Texas CFAR), led by Dr. Thomas Giordano.

The funding will help advance research focused on ending the HIV epidemic and improving health outcomes through HIV prevention, treatment, cure, and care, while supporting the next generation of HIV researchers and strengthening community partnerships.
