I almost walked away from physical therapy. Not because of the patients — because of everything standing in the way of treating them.
Productivity quotas. Insurance rules that changed mid-treatment. Hours spent defending care to reviewers who’d never met my patients. A system that sometimes rewarded keeping people in PT longer instead of getting them better faster.
I wasn’t burned out from physical therapy. I was burned out from the way I was being forced to practice it.
So I changed how I practice. Everything about Infinite Athlete — one-on-one sessions, no insurance gatekeeping, full hours instead of rushed visits — comes from this story.
Swipe through for the whole thing. If any part of this sounds familiar, I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
