⚠️ Have you actually read the warning that comes with Ozempic®?
Ozempic® contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist peptide, along with inactive ingredients that make up the finished pharmaceutical formulation.
Its official prescribing information carries a BOXED WARNING: Risk of Thyroid C-Cell Tumors. Semaglutide caused thyroid C-cell tumors in rodents.
I also think an important distinction is often overlooked when discussing peptides: a peptide as an active molecule and a finished pharmaceutical product are not necessarily the same thing. Finished medications contain specific formulations, concentrations, delivery systems, and inactive ingredients.
I only work with pure peptides as active molecules, chains of amino acids, not the ones from Big Pharma with their blends. As a peptides practitioner, I'm part of an IRB-overseen research project: Highest-Quality Peptides, 99.9% pure, backed by third-party testing in the U.S. only. Big Pharma saw the money and the opportunity and made their own blend with harmful chemicals, but they are not the same.
This is why I encourage you to look beyond trends, understand exactly what they are using, review the evidence, discuss the benefits, risks, formulation, personal history, and long-term health considerations, and work with a practitioner who knows the difference and understands how to create protocols and stacks of peptides.
