What a special day!

I always love coming here makes me think back to my birth with my daughter. Sweet memories!

But this birth today!! Let me tell ya a little bit about it!

it’s rare for moms to go into labor naturally with their first baby and have the baby on their due date, she did that! It’s rare to labor in a hospital with no interventions, and intermittent monitoring the entire labor, and to do all this no epidural and deliver a 9lb baby!!

I’m so beyond proud of her and so thankful I was a part of this little baby boys birth story!

One thing I always tell families: everyone involved in the birth should take a birth class. Not just the person giving birth—but partners, support people, and anyone who plans to be in the room.

When everyone understands what’s happening during labor, how to provide comfort, and what to expect, it creates a stronger, calmer support system. Knowledge builds confidence, and confidence can make such a big difference in the birth experience.

The more we understand birth, the better we can support, advocate, and create a positive experience for growing families.

If you’re expecting, consider taking a birth class together with your support team. It’s one of the best ways to prepare for your birth journey. 💛

There is something so incredibly special about walking alongside a family more than once in their journey. ✨

I had the honor of supporting this amazing mama as her doula previously, and this time I was welcomed back to capture her birth story through my camera lens. What a gift.

She labored so beautifully and powerfully, surrounded by calm and love. That gorgeous tub held the most peaceful, empowering water birth.

And dad steady, present, all in offering constant support and even helping catch his baby.

I’m beyond grateful I was trusted to witness it again, this time preserving every powerful, tender detail.

Welcome to the world, sweet baby. 🥰

With Starting year 5, 50+ births attended and many different trainings and continuing education, I have updated my services and prices, to reflect the experience, time, dedication, and specialized training I bring to every birth. This allows me to continue providing the highest quality support, while keeping my client list small and intentional.

6 of my births this year were inductions! And in case you were wondering; low interventions even unmedicated inductions are possible
