Why do I still look pregnant months after having my baby?” 🤔
If you’ve ever asked yourself that question, you’re not alone.
It could be diastasis recti, a separation of the abdominal muscles that happens during pregnancy. While it may sound alarming, it’s actually very common, and most moms experience some degree of it as their bodies grow and make room for baby.

Here’s what many people don’t realize: having a baby is only the beginning of your core recovery.
Your core needs to be retrained with proper breathing, deep core activation, and safe strengthening exercises. Crunches and planks aren’t always the answer, and doing the wrong exercises too soon can make things worse.
When diastasis recti isn’t properly addressed, it can contribute to:✨ A stubborn “mommy pooch”✨ Low back pain✨ Poor posture✨ Pelvic floor issues, including leaking or heaviness✨ A core that just doesn’t feel strong or connected

The good news?
Recovery is possible, and it’s never too late to start.
💛

For the entire month of JULY, I’m offering FREE Diastasis Recti Assessments.

We’ll check your core, discuss your symptoms, and create a plan to help you rebuild strength safely and confidently.
If you’re 6 weeks postpartum, or 6 years years postpartum and you’re ready to reconnect with your core,

DM or text to 832-974-2838 “CORE” to book your free assessment.

Your body has done something incredible, and it deserves the right support to heal. 💪🤱

What makes dry needling different at Pelvic Rehab PT?

We go beyond symptom relief. Dry needling is combined with corrective movement, strength and stability training, and pelvic muscle coordination to address the root cause of your pain and dysfunction.

This comprehensive approach helps ensure we're not just treating your symptoms, we're helping you build the strength, movement, and confidence to get back to doing what you love.
