🧠 What is Live Z-Score Neurofeedback?

This noninvasive training uses sensors on your scalp to measure brainwave activity and compare it with a reference database in real time. Video or sound feedback rewards selected brainwave patterns, helping your brain practice self-regulation.

🌅 Start your day with light, movement, and a little care for yourself.

A walk in the first light of day can be a peaceful self-care ritual. Morning daylight helps set your body’s internal clock, supporting your sleep–wake rhythm, while regular walking can improve mood, ease anxiety, and support better sleep. 💛

As you walk, notice the colors of the sky, listen to the sounds around you, and let yourself move at a comfortable pace. Give yourself a few moments to be present before the day gets busy.

Self-care can begin with one small step. 🌿

🐴💚 Sometimes, a soothing moment starts with connection.

Gently grooming a horse, noticing their breathing, and sharing quiet space can offer an opportunity to slow down, feel grounded, and reconnect with the present moment.

Scientists are exploring the biology behind this connection—including oxytocin, a hormone involved in social bonding, and the relationship between human and horse heart rhythms. Some studies have observed synchronization in heart rate variability during interactions—a fascinating glimpse into how we respond to one another.

With supportive guidance, equine-assisted therapy creates space to practice awareness, emotional regulation, and connection. 🌿

🐴 Start your day with a “herd huddle”!

Gather with loved ones, friends, or colleagues who help you feel supported and connected. A few minutes of shared conversation, encouragement, or laughter can help you feel grounded, support emotional regulation, and ease into a more positive mindset. 💚

Your huddle can be simple—a morning coffee together, a quick team check-in, or a call to someone you trust. Make room to ask: “How are you feeling, and what support would help today?”

🧠 Neurofeedback and fibromyalgia: What does the research show?

A 2025 pilot study explored a specialized form of EEG neurofeedback designed to train communication between brain regions involved in pain regulation and pain sensation.

Thirty adults with fibromyalgia were assigned to receive 12 sessions of either active neurofeedback or placebo feedback over four weeks.

🔹 Participants generally found the approach acceptable.
🔹 No serious adverse effects were reported, although some experienced temporary fatigue and increased dreaming.
