Eating the same food all month? Stop! 🚫

Change your foods regularly! Do NOT eat the same foods everyday.

Your body doesn't just need energy, it needs all kinds of , , minerals, and !

Try dishes without fully cooked veggies and fruits.

This is my dish: apples, pears, bell peppers, edamame, and pork over white rice with a raspberry sauce topping.

Feeding fish dry foods causes them to bloat, have all kinds of regulatory issues, until they can no longer swim properly and start to get really stressed.

Their bodies start to dysregulate (cannot keep all the systems in their body working properly) and they are susceptible to diseases, such as swim bladder disease. This disease causes the fish to be unable to move itself.

This further stresses the fish until they can no longer swim at all, they give up, and die.

What do you think the you eat does to your body? If you're eating grains or anything that can expand in your body, how might that be causing the human version of swim bladder disease (psssst... We call it cancer)?

But what is on a biological level? What is happening in the mind as well as the body?

I believe that to connect with anything you have to store it as a memory. When we say we "connect" with someone or another being, what we really mean is we stored a memory of that being and have an emotional response to that connection.

But how does one connect with the ?

By being present with yourself and storing a memory of that presence in a way that creates an emotional response...
.. Good or bad.

... What is it?

I mean, what is the "self" to begin with? How can you if you don't know what the self is?

We found three words in the spirituality group that give structure to how we define the self from an early age: "should," "need to," and "supposed to."

These words create roads in your brain to things PEOPLE have told you.

NOT who you actually are.

So ?

You get to choose. Be the version of you no one has constructed and you'll find many of the and issues disappear.

If you are constantly fighting you within... How could life not be stressful?

How do you love yourself? is critical for all aspects of ... If you cannot love yourself, how can you possibly hope to love another?

This is a problem in our society that teaches you to and to be ashamed

Shame keeps you focused on why you shouldn't be loved, instead of accepting that you can be loved

Also... Part of yourself as a human, are . Without plants, you do not exist.

If you cannot learn to love plants - and I would argue, other beings as well - as an aspect of you, how can one truly love themselves?

You are not an I. You are a we. An us. A they. A them. A multicellular being where every cell is just as important the other.

It is a thing

We forget that everything psychological is also biological - the two are the same thing just at different points of experience

Like throwing a ball. You are part of the ball's initial speed, tracetory, rotation, etc

But once the ball is in the air, you can observe the ball, but you can no longer control what is going to happen

Surrender is that. Your body is already in motion and there is very little of your life that is not already in motion. Trying to control your life only leads to frustration and

Just like trying to control a ball already in motion.

Let go of the bu****it. Trust that you can adapt and withstand.

It's not easy to do, which is why most love is superficial

It requires us to not hold tight to protection or control... but to accept that relinquishing control is the greatest gift one can offer.

Rhythm is a language of the universe. Stop moving, you get weak (exercise).

If a plant stops moving (in the wind), it becomes frail.
