It’s National Nurses Week! Did you know that all of our nurse practitioners were pediatric nurses for at least 5 years prior to becoming Nurse Practitioners? They worked all across the medical center at Women’s Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hermann, and Texas Children’s in various specialties like trauma, ER, PICU, NICU, GI and transplant surgery. Give a shout out to our nurse practitioners!!!🩺

Is your kid needing a camp or sports physical and don’t want them to miss school? Call and schedule their appointment during our late clinic hours! And remember, if your child comes home from school and they have a fever or some other complaint, we are able to see them for sick visits, as well. Just make sure to call prior to 5pm to get on the schedule.

Help your older child and teen finish out the school year strong. Make a designated homework place in your house that is free of distractions. Have your child take scheduled breaks while doing his homework instead of trying to “power” through it in one stretch. If possible, do homework right after school with only a short break at home. This will leave free time after dinner with homework already complete.

📣Starting tomorrow, 04/16, Nurse Practitioner Lindsey will be starting early morning hours at our Fannin office at 8:30AM. These appointments will be available on Tuesdays-Fridays. You can schedule sick visits and well checked during these slots.

If you need to be seen during these early morning appointments for sick visits, call the afternoon before, by 5pm, and we will place you on the schedule!

These appointment times are to help you and your child be seen before the work or school day.
