In Loving memory of Michael Eugene Miller
Charlotte, NC
Michael Eugene Miller passed away peacefully in early morning hours of October 18, 2025, surrounded by family. He was 70 years old.
Born on June 1, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mike was the cherished son of Joan and Therodore Miller. He grew up in Terre Haute, where he attended Fuqua Elementary School and raised in the faith of Jehovah’s Witnesses as a member of Terre Haute South Congregation-a spiritual home still dear to many of his relatives today. One of Mike’s favorite Kingdom songs was “Walking in Integrity” ( #34) inspired by Psalm 26: “Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in integrity; In Jehovah have trusted without wavering.”
After graduating from Terre Haute South Vigo High School, Mike moved to to St. Louis, Missouri, to begin a career in banking with Boatmen’s Bank. His dedication and leadership propelled him through the ranks of the financial services industry, culminating in his retirement as a senior executive with Bank of America after 25 years of distinguished service.
Mike embraced life with boundless energy and deep love for his family. A certified pilot, Corvette enthusiast, and avid scuba diver, he was always ready for the next adventure- often with wife Cathy and their treasured bichons, Charlie Brown Baron and Snoopy, by his side.
A lifelong technology enthusiast, Mike was known for staying ahead of the curve, always eager to explore the latest innovations. Yet above all, he was a man of compassion and generosity, freely offering his time and talents in support of others.
Mike is preceded in death by his stepfather, Ralph Featherston.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Catherine Miller; his loving mother, Joan Featherston; his brother Donald J. Miller; and his aunts and uncle, Clara Dyer (Kenny), Kathy Barnard (Bob), Barb Barnard (Russell), Shirly Purcell (Gary), Georgia Heyde, and Alan White. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
