Some goodbyes are harder than others and this is one we never imagined having to say.
After nearly three beautiful years, Löyly Sauna Lounge will be closing its doors on October 31.
When we opened Löyly, we dreamed of creating something more than a place to experience heat, cold, and breath. We wanted to create a space where people could slow down, feel welcome, find connection, and simply be themselves.
What we never could have imagined was just how much this community would give back to us.
You turned strangers into friends. You showed up for yourselves and for each other. You filled these walls with laughter, vulnerability, courage, and countless moments we’ll carry with us forever.
And somewhere along the way, Löyly became so much more than a sauna lounge. It became a place to belong.
While our hearts are heavy, they are also incredibly full. Full of gratitude for every person who walked through our doors, every story shared, every friendship formed, and every moment that made this place feel like home.
We have three more weeks together, and we hope you’ll spend some of that time with us.

The doors may be closing, but everything we created together extends far beyond these walls.
And Houston, while this chapter is coming to a close, our story is far from over.
