Last weekend, I was doing continuing ed in Dallas, and got to see an old friend from Chiro school. It has been 17 years! We talked about how we describe common conditions, and I told him about my ice cream sandwich analogy for disc herniations and decompression. He liked it and recorded me saying it the way I always do, then fed the recording into AI, and it instantly spit out this graphic. Crazy. The future is here!

Book number three is coming along! My first one, Reunion Ready, was 46,000 words, so getting to the 40K mark feels substantial, even though I have a long way to go still.

This book is on the subject of healthy aging—extending your health span—so there are many pieces of the puzzle to write about. I’m hoping to finish this year and to release it in January, but for now I wanted to celebrate a milestone.

Ok, back to writing (between patients, that is)!

A quick example of the Sitting-Rising test. A perfect 10, which means not touching the floor with your hand or knee or losing your balance or climbing your own leg to stand up, means your next 10 years are pretty much guaranteed.
