We provide a unique, tranquil setting with full OB/GYN services, nutritional counseling, and monthly seminars based on the total woman. ABOUT DR. VONNE JONES:

I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember, and women's health is of the utmos

t importance to me. Total Women's Care of the Heights will add a new dimension to care and target the total woman. I hope to provide patients with diet and exercise modifications that will change the way a women lives and feels during and after pregnancy. Both obstetric and gynecological services will be provided, along with many opportunities for patients to be educated on a variety of topics through in-house seminars. I created Total Women's Care so that I can accommodate my patients and provide them with the best resources and individualized treatment plans. My primary area of focus is High and Low Risk Obstetrics, however I enjoy caring for each patient at any stage of life, including young women just starting their gynecological journey. We provide a number of in-office procedures including: insertion of contraceptive devices, colposcopy, loop excision electrode procedure, hysteroscopy, and dilation and curettage. I understand that doctor’s visits are not always viewed as pleasurable, but my aim is to create a relaxing, tranquil environment where each patient feels as if she were transported to spa rather than an OB/GYN office. Our office staff is caring and gentle and available to help you with any questions or concerns before, during, and after each visit. When I am not taking care of my patients, I enjoy working out, dancing and listening to music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Sometimes, it’s one conversation that stays with you. 💜

This week, I met with a patient who quietly asked, “I hope this isn’t a silly question...”

I smiled and told her something I wish every woman knew: There are no silly questions when it comes to your health. By the end of our conversation, she left feeling informed, reassured, and confident about her next steps.

Moments like these remind me why I became an OB-GYN. It’s not just about exams, procedures, or delivering babies. It’s about listening, educating, and helping women feel seen, heard, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health.

If there’s one thing I hope every patient takes away from their visit, it’s this: You should never feel embarrassed to ask questions about your body.

I’m always happy to have that conversation.

One of the most common things I hear from patients is: “I thought this was just something I had to live with.”

Whether it’s painful periods, heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, changes in your cycle, or symptoms that simply don’t feel right—many women assume it’s “normal” because they’ve lived with it for so long.

One question I wish every woman felt comfortable asking is: “Is what I’m experiencing actually normal?”

The truth is, you never have to figure it out on your own. Sometimes the answer is reassuring. Other times, it’s the first step toward identifying a condition that can be treated.

No question is too small. If something doesn’t feel right, bring it up.

That’s exactly what we’re here for. 💜

As July comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on something I tell my patients every day:

Your health matters.

Whether you’ve been following along here, asked a question through “Ask Dr. Jones”, visited our office, or simply shared one of our posts with someone you love—thank you.

My goal has never been to simply post on social media. It’s to create a space where women feel informed, supported, and empowered to make confident decisions about their health.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.

As we head into August, I’d love to hear from you.

Ask Dr. Jones: Stop Googling every symptom. Here’s what to do instead.

We need to talk about 2am Google searches. 😅 I understand the impulse — but Dr. Google can’t examine you, and the anxiety from a worst-case diagnosis is real. Here’s a better way. 💜 Save this as your reminder. And book that appointment you’ve been putting off.
