👓💙 130+ students. Eye exams. FREE glasses. One hour. One powerful day.

Today, VSP Eyes of Hope continued its Tour Through Texas at Jane Long Elementary School in Richmond, Texas, bringing eye care directly to students who need it most — alongside local doctors and community partners.

✨ 130+ eye exams
👓 Free prescription glasses
⏱️ Many glasses made in about ONE HOUR

The VSP Eyes of Hope mobile clinic is more than an eye exam. It includes a fully equipped exam room, an eyewear dispensary stocked with popular frames, and a finishing lab that can produce prescription glasses for many students right after their exam.

And the impact goes even further — portable equipment inside the school allows even more students to receive care.

📚 Why does this matter?

Clear, healthy vision can help students learn, read, participate and thrive. It’s especially important in the early elementary years, when children are developing foundational reading skills.

Yet for too many families, regular eye exams and proper eyewear remain out of reach.

That’s why the Tour Through Texas is bringing eye care, glasses and literacy resources directly to students — helping remove barriers to care, learning and success.

💙 To date, VSP Eyes of Hope has helped more than 4.5 million people in need.

Today wasn’t just about glasses.

It was about giving students the opportunity to see clearly, learn confidently and dream bigger. 👓📚✨

🍂👓 WELCOME OCTOBER — with all the Ohs! 👁️🍁

October is here, and it’s the perfect time to make sure your eyes and eyewear are ready for the season!

Here are 4 “Ohs!” to think about:

✨ Oh! Are you cleaning your glasses with dishwashing liquid? Some products can damage your lens coatings.

✨ Oh! Have you considered an anti-reflective coating? It can help reduce glare and reflections for clearer, more comfortable vision.

✨ Oh! Are your lenses getting old? An outdated prescription or worn lenses may be affecting how clearly you see.

✨ Oh! Are your eyes feeling dry and blurry? Seasonal dryness can make your vision feel less comfortable and clear.

🍁 Oh, it is October, baby! Let’s help you see better and make your eyes feel better. 👁️💚

📅 Ready for your October eye check? See you soon!
