Our team has been hard at work attending back-to-school events throughout the community, helping students and their families prepare for a successful school year ahead.

A special thank you to Laurie Thomas, Community Liaison, who recently represented Kingwood Pines Hospital at two back-to-school events with Aldine ISD. These events provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with families, share resources, and promote the importance of mental health and wellness as students return to the classroom.

As the new school year begins, we're proud to support our local communities and help children and teens start the year strong, both academically and emotionally. πŸ’™

As students head back to the classroom, it's normal for children and teens to experience feelings of stress and uncertainty. Changes in routines, academic pressures, social expectations, and extracurricular activities can all impact mental well-being.

Parents, watch for signs such as increased irritability, changes in sleep habits, withdrawal from friends or family, and excessive worry about school.

The good news? Early support and open conversations can make a big difference. This school year, let's prioritize mental health alongside academic success.

πŸ“± Concerned about your child's emotional well-being? Call us at 281-404-1001 to schedule a confidential level of care assessment, or visit https://bit.ly/4sSNOSf to learn more about our programs.
