💕 WE WEAR PINK FOR JENNIFER! 💕

This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month hits a little closer to home for our Mizell Orthodontics family. 🎀

Our very own Jennifer has faced breast cancer with incredible courage, strength, determination, and that beautiful smile we've all come to know and love.

Many of you have been part of her journey, offering kind words, encouragement, prayers, and support along the way. We want you to know just how much that love means to Jennifer and our entire team. 💗

This month, we wear pink for Jennifer. We wear pink for the fighters, the survivors, those we've lost, and the loved ones standing beside them.

🎀 When you visit our office this October, we invite you to join us! Stop by our front desk to write a message of hope, encouragement, or the name of someone you wear pink for on one of our pink ribbons. We'll proudly display them as a reminder that no one fights alone.

🎉 Celebrating 30 Years of Ashley! 🎉

Last week, we celebrated an incredible milestone — Ashley’s 30th anniversary with Mizell Orthodontics!

Ashley started her journey with us as a dental assistant before making her way to the front desk, and today she officially holds the title of longest-standing member of our team! 🏆

If you know Ashley, you know she’s never met a stranger. She loves a good chitchat, genuinely enjoys making people happy, and has spent three decades helping our patients and team feel welcomed and cared for.

Thirty years at one office means countless patients, coworkers, conversations, laughs, and memories — and we’re so grateful Ashley has been part of all of them.

💧 National Hydration Day at Mizell Orthodontics! 💧
Dr. Mizell, Dr. Kim, and the team are all about healthy habits—including staying hydrated! But it seems some of our patients, parents, and even a few staff members may have taken hydration a little too seriously... and then forgotten where they left their bottle. 😅
Maybe you haven't been drinking enough water because you can't find your cup! 👀
Our Lost & Found collection is overflowing with water bottles, tumblers, and cups looking for their way back home.

Our office will be closed tomorrow, January 22nd, in the morning. We currently plan to reopen at 1pm, pending road conditions. Stay safe and see you soon!

Due to inclement weather, our office will be closed tomorrow, January 21st. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our staff will begin calling to reschedule appointments this afternoon.
We will wait until Tuesday after to determine if we can safely open on Wednesday, January 22nd.
If our building loses power, we will be unable to access the patient database to communicate. If you do not receive notice regarding Wednesday appointments, please call our office at 713-781-5548. If the machine does not answer, it means we do not have power. Otherwise, please listen to the message on the machine regarding working hours and weather updates.
