Obviously, this is satire. Please don’t do any of these things. In fact, do the exact opposite. 😂

Laser treatments can do some pretty incredible things for your skin, but what you do AFTER your appointment matters just as much.

Follow your aftercare instructions. Use your recommended post-care products and LED light. Protect your skin barrier, wear your SPF, and please, let your skin heal in peace.

You invested in your skin. Let’s not make that a temporary situation.

The questions don’t have to be complicated to be important. 🚨

Sometimes it’s as simple as asking why a treatment is being recommended, what product is being used, or whether you even need it in the first place.

A good consultation should feel like a conversation, not a sales pitch. And no question should feel too small to ask.

Be curious. Ask questions. It’s your face, after all.

This will always be my philosophy.

After 20+ years in aesthetics, I’ve seen what happens when treatments go too far. And I think we’ve all seen enough of overdone.

I love injectables and what they can accomplish when used thoughtfully. But knowing when to say no is just as important as knowing how to treat.

Good aesthetics isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what’s right for the patient.

Patient outcomes over profit. Every single time. 💯

Somewhere along the way, we’ve made aesthetic treatments something women feel they need to announce, deny, or explain.

But you don’t have to prove your beauty is natural. You don’t have to disclose every treatment. And you certainly don’t have to justify wanting to look refreshed.

You don’t need a disclaimer to feel good about yourself.

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally making moves!

Face IQ Aesthetics is getting a brand-new home, and we’re building it from the ground up! 🏡

I’m so excited to bring this next chapter to life. More space, new possibilities, and a practice designed from the ground up with my patients in mind.

And yes… no more parking garage. 😂

There’s a lot to do before we open the doors, but I can’t wait to share the process with you as it all comes together.

Same standards, same approach, just a little more room to grow.

Not everything that lasts is a problem. Especially when we’re talking about filler.

There’s a lot of fear surrounding filler longevity right now, and while some of the concerns are absolutely valid, context matters.

Filler isn’t meant to be a standing appointment on your calendar. We should be reassessing, not automatically replenishing.

And sometimes? There’s simply nothing that needs to be done.

After 20+ years in aesthetics, I still believe knowing when NOT to treat is just as important as knowing how.

Injectors, are we talking enough about the good outcomes, too?

Aesthetics is part of the job.
It’s not the extent of the skill set.

PAs contain multitudes.

Sometimes those multitudes just happen to include your forehead 👩🏼‍⚕️

These questions are always valid. You should definitely ask what to expect before and after an injectable treatment.

But when it comes to bruising, there’s one thing even great technique can’t change: your anatomy.

Your face is highly vascular, and sometimes a needle meets a blood vessel. We can minimize the risk, but we can’t promise you’ll never bruise.

So ask the questions. Plan for a little downtime. And maybe don’t book filler two days before the wedding. 😅
