Did you miss the tea?!

Did you miss the conversation I had with Suzette Chaumette, MPH 🇭🇹| The Farmacist ?! It was truly a great talk where she dropped tons of gems.

How to start your own garden, no matter the space or resources.

How to make broccoli sprouts at home.

Which herbs are powerful and easy to grow.

The full episode is still available on my channel: ASAWELLMED. It’s juicy. Not to mention, she has more great content on her podcast and YouTube annnd on her page.

Let’s get this workout in… today I attempted a PULL workout. I usually aim to do upper and lower body in the same day because I’m not fortunate to be in the gym 5 days in a week. So I have to cram in what I can when I can.

My cardio is the Tennis Wall. It helps me get practice in when I do not have a partner. The wall is unforgiving so today I’m using a green dot ball so I can focus on my technique and not run around too much.

I prefer this cardio over walking or running on a treadmill because I dread that!

Can you tell this is my favorite lift. A friend in the gym showed me this and I never turned back. I have grown my posterior chain happily with this, and it feels stable. I will slowly start progressive overload.

I do a sumo squat with a kettle bell when I don’t feel like loading my back. Because I do have history of a back injury I don’t like to load my back, and I really don’t care for squats with a barbell weight… so this is one of my favorites when I can do it. I keep it light… I will start loading later this year.

Single leg RDLs like I didn’t just kill my hammies early, but this helps to fine tune some balance and unevenness. And it’s just fun.

Some single leg curtsy’s because I need them and I don’t do them often but when I do…

Now for the upper body I was talking about. I usually do 5 sets of 15, but today I did 3 x15

These are a staple. Dumbbell curls… I do this every time I’m in a gym. That’s probably why my shoulders are like boulders.

Another angle just because.

And last but not least… these… and I do them standing for core control… because I have had 4 babies in the last 10 years and more core needs control.

I also did planks, deadbugs.. sit ups etc. because again… core needs some tender loving care and I can’t keep ignoring it.

Did you?

5 Reasons YOU, yes YOU, don’t need to worry about all these peptides.

Look, I’m not saying they aren’t good, I’m not saying they are bad… I’m just saying… you’re worried about the wrong things.

There are sooo many habits and lifestyle changes that can take you wayyyyyy further. Do the work. Do the deep work. Don’t get caught up in the hype and take risks you weren’t made to take.

Have you tried them? What was your experience? Do you have any advice for the rest of us?

Now that was a POWERFUL conversation!

GROW & GLOW: Reconnecting with REAL food.

If you missed it, the video is still up on YT.
We went LIVE with Health For The Culture speaking with Suzette Chaumette, MPH 🇭🇹| The Farmacist and she dropped TONS of gems!

Did you know you can grow food in bags?
Which herbs are powerful and useful in treating disease that you can grow in your kitchen?
If there were a zombie apocalypse are you ready?!

This was a deep and gratifying talk where we discussed the difference between filled and fueled and everything in between.

Are you ready to take your health and your diet to the next level?
