It’s Apheresis Awareness Day! 🩸

Apheresis allows us to collect specific blood components, like double red cells, platelets, and plasma, while returning the rest of your blood to you. Your donation can give patients exactly what they need during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. O donors may be eligible to donate double red cells, A donors can donate platelets, and AB donors can donate plasma, each donation offering a powerful way to help save lives.

These specialized donations play an important role in helping patients with cancer, trauma, surgery and other serious medical needs.
