Mosaic Tree Counseling, a mental health practice in business for 15 years, is offering low-cost therapy sessions for just $45 per session with one of our highly trained counseling interns.

All interns are completing their graduate degree in Counseling or Social Work, and their internship is the final step in their professional training. Before seeing clients, our interns complete extensive training, observation, and supervised clinical experience. They are also closely supervised by me, Dr. Maria Peters, LPC-S, with 22 years of counseling experience.

• In-person or virtual with flexible schedules
• Female and male interns
• A supportive, compassionate environment
• Have 3 bilingual therapists

We bury things.

The tears we never cried.
The words we never said.
The betrayal we never addressed.
The grief we convinced ourselves we’d eventually “get over.”
The anger we swallowed.
The shame we hid.

We bury them because life keeps moving.

Kids need us.
Bills need to be paid.
Work doesn’t stop.
People still expect us to smile.

So we tell ourselves we’re fine, but here’s the problem…

**Everything we bury is buried alive.**

And things that are buried alive do NOT stay quiet forever.

They wait.

And wait.

Sometimes for a week. Sometimes for a year. Sometimes for a decade. Sometimes for half a century or longer.

Until one day, they resurface in a way we don’t quite understand.

Maybe it’s an overreaction that doesn’t make sense.

Or maybe it’s a panic attack you didn’t see coming.

A relationship you sabotage.

A level of anxiety you can’t explain.

An exhaustion that sleep never seems to fix.

A physical pain or discomfort that you blame age for.

No… not every struggle comes from buried emotions.

*But pretending pain doesn’t exist has never been the same thing as healing it.*

Feeling isn’t weakness. It’s the way we process what happened so we don’t spend years carrying what was only meant to be a season.
