On Wednesday, our very own Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Sasi Yallampalli conducted a presentation on the advanced Y-90 procedure to local residents and IR fellows in the Houston area. Not only did this provide a space for future radiologists to connect, it also provided key education on the minimally invasive approach to treat and target liver tumors. We look forward to continuing our part in the advancement of this procedure and the impacts Dr. Yallampalli has on the future of radiology.

He inspired the kids by sharing what it means to be a radiologist and the vital role they play in healthcare. He even shared the photo you see here to show the kids that radiologists perform various procedures!
