On Saturday morning, Hallmark residents gathered to honor the anniversary of D-Day. Together, they listened to the historic NBC radio bulletin that first announced the Allied invasion of Normandy and reflected on the significance of this pivotal moment in history.
Residents shared memories, stories, and thoughtful discussions as we remembered the courage and sacrifice of those who served. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from their experiences and keep these important stories alive for future generations.

Houston summers are known for extreme temperatures, high humidity and heavy downpours. To prevent heat exhaustion:

- Remember to stay hydrated
- Avoid outdoor activities during peak afternoon heat
- Check in on friends and loved ones regularly

Be aware of heat exhaustion warning signs, including dizziness, headaches, muscle cramps and fatigue.

At The Hallmark, we’re staying out of the heat with plenty of cool indoor activities and also staying hurricane-ready. Our generators are always on standby, so should a hurricane strike, we’re prepared to keep residents and staff safe.
