We are your local ANNA chapter, whose members are generally from Metro Houston and surrounding gulf coast areas. ANNA accepts membership from any registered nurse licensed in the United States, Canada, or Mexico who is interested in the care of nephrology patients. Other practitioners who are working with or are interested in the care of nephrology patients are also welcome to become members. This

includes Technicians, Dietitians, Social Workers, Physicians, and Students. Associate members have all the privileges of active membership, except voting or holding office.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our July 16, 2026, monthly educational meeting. We truly appreciate your participation and commitment to continuing education and professional collaboration.

On June 18, 2026, ANNA Gulf Coast Chapter #204 had the pleasure of partnering with Kyowa Kirin for an engaging and informative educational program. We were honored to have Dr. Copple present on CRYSVITA® (burosumab-twza), a targeted treatment for adults with X-linked Hypophosphatemia (XLH), with a special focus on its relevance to Adult Nephrology and Endocrinology.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Stanley West and Nikki Renfro for hosting our monthly meeting and supporting this valuable learning opportunity. Their partnership helped make the event a success.
We hope everyone enjoyed the program and found the information beneficial to their clinical practice.

In collaboration with our colleagues from the Alamo City Chapter, we are excited to invite all Gulf Coast Chapter members to the upcoming Summer Seminar at the Coast: Nephrology Update!
Join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Corpus Christi for a full day of education, networking, and coastal relaxation. This seminar offers 7.5 CEs, expert-led sessions, great food, door prizes, and the chance to connect with nephrology professionals from across the region.

We would love to see our Gulf Coast members represented and engaged at this annual coastal event.
