Dear ANNA Gulf Coast Chapter 204,
On behalf of our chapter, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended our May 14, 2026 educational meeting focused on Kerendia. Your presence, engagement, and commitment to advancing nephrology nursing made this event truly meaningful and successful.

We were honored to learn from Dr. Mandayam, whose insightful and evidence-based presentation offered valuable perspectives on reducing cardiovascular risk in patients with chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes. His expertise helped deepen our understanding of emerging therapeutic approaches and reinforced the critical role nurses play in improving patient outcomes through early intervention, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our vendor partner, Bayer, for their continued support of nephrology education and for helping make this session possible.

A special thank you goes to our gracious host, Anthony Thompson, whose hospitality and coordination ensured a welcoming and seamless experience for all attendees.

In addition, it was a true joy to celebrate Nurses Week together. This gathering gave us the opportunity not only to enhance our clinical knowledge but also to recognize and honor the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our nursing community. Sharing this time with our members strengthened our connections and reminded us of the important impact we have in the lives of our patients every day.

We are grateful for your continued participation and support of ANNA Gulf Coast Chapter 204. We look forward to seeing you at future meetings and continuing to grow together in knowledge, leadership, and excellence in nephrology nursing practice.

To all ANNA #204 Gulf Coast Chapter Members, Family, and Friends

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Kids' Meals. Thanks to your hard work and dedication, we were able to prepare 1,146 sandwiches for preschool-aged children in our community.

It was truly inspiring to see our community come together-from long-time members to the family and friends who stepped up to help. Your energy made the morning fly by, and your efforts ensure that local children have access to healthy meals this week.

We've also put together a short video with photos from that day so you can see all those sandwiches (and smiling faces!)

We are so grateful for your time, your hands, and your hearts. We look forward to seeing you at our next service event!

Happy Nurses Week! 💙

Be proud of the incredible care, compassion, and dedication you bring to our dialysis patients every single day. You’re not just providing treatment—you’re building trust, offering comfort, and standing beside patients through some of their most challenging moments.

Your attention to detail, your ability to anticipate needs, and your commitment to safety help ensure that every treatment is as effective and comfortable as possible. The relationships you build turn routine care into something deeply personal and meaningful.

On the hard days, when the work feels heavy, remember that your presence brings reassurance and stability. To your patients, you are more than a nurse—you are a steady source of strength, encouragement, and hope.

Thank you for showing up with skill, heart, and resilience. You make a lasting difference in ways that truly matter. 💙

Dear ANNA Gulf Coast Members,

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the 1st Annual Meeting of the Texas Society of Nephrology (TxSN) 2026, held at Hotel ZaZa on May 2, 2026. Your presence, engagement, and support helped make this gathering a meaningful and memorable event for all involved.

We would like to offer special appreciation to our gracious hosts, Dr. Farhad Danesh, and to Jenyda Augustin for their time, effort, and dedication in coordinating such a remarkable event. Their leadership and hospitality played an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and a successful program.

We were especially honored to hear from an outstanding group of presenters who shared valuable knowledge and insight with attendees:
