I had an appointment with my original nephrologist this morning. He walked in and gave me the biggest hug. He was so happy I got my transplant and that I was doing so good. I told him about my beautiful Earth Angel & showing pictures. He told me I should stop by to see Ms Phyliss who was my home dialysis coordinator, she would be glad to see me. I wasn't going to go but decided to since it was only 8 mins away. I pull in the parking lot and guess who was at their car, Ms Phyliss. I let my window down and said , "you're exactly who I need to see." She's looking trying to figure out who I was and yelled KRISTY!! She gave me the biggest hug and said OMG, girl you look good. Mind y'all, I was a mess the last time she saw me. I literally cried for 2 weeks straight when I started dialysis. I was defeated mentally, emotionally, spiritually & physically. She saw me at the worse time of my life but she was so patient & supportive. I also told her about Clay, she raised her hands and said THANK YOU GOD!! She asked about my Mom, I told her the unfortunate news, she hugged me and said I can't imagine how you feel because I know that was your rider. I gave her another hug and left. It was so good to see both of them who was at the beginning of my journey to now 7 years later, new kidney and doing much better.💚💚

Looking back at where I was and where I am today, I can’t help but give God all the glory. There was a time when all of my lab results were in the red because my kidneys weren’t functioning properly. Today, seeing almost everything in the green is just a reminder of how good God is.💚
I am forever grateful for my Earth Angel. His selfless gift gave me a second chance at life, and there are no words that could ever fully express my gratitude. He's a true blessing, and I thank God every day for him. 💚
My journey hasn’t been easy, but today I’m celebrating with a grateful heart.💚

Happy Saturday Everyone 💚I hope you all have been well and staying hydrated..Texas heat is no joke 🥵

Update.. I had an ultrasound on BEAN & from the looks on the ultrasound, he's looking healthy , normal blood flow and no signs of blockage 🙌🏾🙌🏾 I'm having blood work done in a couple of weeks to check my numbers so I can see my original nephrologist. God has truly been amazing. Reflecting back to when I was praying for this moment. Now I'm actually living it. I am so grateful for my Earth Angel, he was my answered prayer and I love him for life & a million more lifetimes💚💚

Happy Saturday everyone. Hope you all are doing well. I know I haven't been posting lately but BEAN is still doing great. I only have to see my transplant doctors every 6 months & my regular nephrologist one in between that time. My Earth Angel is doing amazing as well💚 That's all for now, hope you all have an amazing weekend
