✨Donor Spotlight✨

Donations don't always have to be clothes or shoes. Self-care items, baby essentials, books and more are thoughtful gifts that can brighten up someone's day.

For years, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church's, Kelly Howell, has faithfully dropped off goodies for the moms in our care. Each one is a reminder of how valuable the women are.

Big or small, each act of kindness makes a big impact. Thanks for helping our moms feel seen and loved!

Small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact!

A heartfelt thank you to Mattress Firm for donating handmade bracelets and notes of encouragement to the women in our care.

Women had the opportunity to choose the bracelet that spoke to her personally and read a message filled with encouragement.

Thank you, , for helping bring comfort and encouragement to the women we serve!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave individuals who made the greatest sacrifice in serving our country.

As we reflect on the meaning of this day, we also encourage you to rest and reflect on time with loved ones. Thank you to all who have served and sacrificed.

We're getting ready to open our *NEW* Central Texas location this fall but, we couldn't do it alone. 💪

Groups from Ranch House Recovery in Elgin and Hensley House in Austin rolled up their sleeves and got to work around our campus. They organized and cleaned our warehouse, filling up dumpsters, and clearing out the outdoor garden area. Removing the old and making space for the new!

We're grateful for recovery communities and partners who believe in our mission and not afraid to put the work in.

We are deeply grateful to The Houston 20 for their generous gift in support of our STARS program, a housing and recovery initiative for survivors of human trafficking. Houston 20's commitment to ending trafficking and supporting survivors is helping make recovery possible for women who have endured significant hardships.

We were honored to be joined by students from:

EpiscopalHighSchool
Memorial High School
St. John's School
St. Francis Episcopal High School
The Village School

The young leaders (not pictured) stood with us, celebrated this milestone, and affirmed that ending human trafficking requires community and action.

Music up and crawfish boiling. A time was had at our recent event. 🎓🦞🎶

We honored the incredible women moving out of Santa Maria and into long-term recovery. From celebrating women completing the program to those receiving their GEDs, our participants persevered!

This event was extra special. Complete with a DJ, crawfish, and sisterhood. We are especially thankful for the words shared by a Santa Maria alumna and the inspiration messaged shared by Jade simmons for senate.

Recovery Recognition is a reminder that transformation is possible and every milestone deserves to be celebrated!

Family comes in every form - even through volunteers.

For years, Santa Maria volunteer Debbie has served faithfully in our library. This time, she brought something extra special for participants.

Handmade bracelets with scriptures, created just for the women in care. Each one is small but mighty. Carrying reminders of hope and faith during recovery.

Encouragement can come in the simplest forms, even in a bracelet wrapped around your wrist.

We're standing together as One Voice for . 💚

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Santa Maria is proud to join fellow members of the Network of Behavioral Health Providers in turning green.

Showing up in green shows our clients and community that no one has to face their challenges alone.

How will you show your support for mental health?

From dancing and pizza to cake and surprises, love visited the campus.

Once a month, Worthy of Love and its volunteers, hosts a celebration for residents. Reminding them that their recovery doesn't limit their worth. It creates joy. It restores dignity. It proves that love is still available and present.

We are grateful for partners who consistently show up and show to our community.
